Aaron grew up on the Front Range of Colorado. He started PROJECTS in May of 2012 and it has grown from there! Aaron has over 20 years of experience in all things from remodeling to decks and fences (his favorite). His main focus is fences and decks and he prefers the sustainability of natural products. He and his wife, Emily, have been together since 2011, married in 2016. She works for a large bank and helps Aaron run the business side of things. Emily was born in the PNW and was eager to move home for a long time. So, the first chance they got, they took. Port Angeles and the Olympic Peninsula have been kind to them these last few years and they both look forward to many more as PROJECTS continues to grow.
They buy the vast majority of their supplies, lumber, and hardware from local businesses, assuring clients that their investment goes back into the community as much as possible. Beyond that, the PROJECTS cargo van is equipped with solar charging for Aaron's tools. This helps them lessen their carbon footprint while elevating properties in Clallam County. They are LQBT+ friendly and BIPOC inclusive and want to build a safe space for everyone.
On days when Aaron isn't installing a deck or tiling a shower, you can find him refining his billiard skills, beach combing, and learning all he can about ultra-lite backpacking. Together, Emily and Aaron enjoy camping on the coast, hiking in the Olympic National Park, cooking together, traveling, and wrangling their two rescue dogs, Lyla, Louise, and their baby boy, Theodore.
Thank you so much for your interest; we hope to help you with your Projects on the Peninsula!
